Manager, Organizational Development

Opportunity Snapshot:

Our Organizational Development group is an internal consulting
team responsible for running multiple concurrent projects through
Edwards' business units. This is an exciting opportunity for an
individual with solid consulting experience in to be part of a
rapidly growing organization focused on improving patient care
through the development of innovative medical devices. This is a
highly visible role with tremendous opportunities for growth.

This is not a typical HR focused OD position; our ideal candidate
comes from a consulting firm with a strong desire to have a long
term corporate impact within a rapidly growing organization.

• Participate in high impact, cross-functional projects by
providing change management and organizational effectiveness
strategies and approaches.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement & refinement to
ensure effectiveness and efficiency of processes.
• Consult on system wide, high impact business initiatives,
with focus on the people impact to ensure ROI on significant
initiatives.
• Conduct organizational assessments and implement
designs/solutions that improve employee productivity, team
effectiveness, and organizational alignment at all levels within the
company.
• Perform and facilitate business process analysis and
improvement activities.
• Work directly with key stakeholders to ensure effective
transitions and to build change management knowledge and
capabilities across the company.
• Consult on the people and organizational impact of business
decisions.
• Lead Employee Engagement program globally to continue to
drive tangible actions around Edwards' culture.

Our Requirements:

A minimum of five years of consulting experience is required, either
from a consulting firm or through a relevant internal role.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Masters in Business
Administration, Organizational Effectiveness/ Development, or
Industrial/Organiza tional Psychology is preferred.
• Strong experience using OE/OD/Change Management tools and
methodologies, including business case analysis, communications,
training, organizational design, team development, etc.
• Extensive program/project management skills are required,
including excellent verbal and written communications, facilitation,
and presentation abilities.
• Strong business acumen and experience managing multiple
stakeholders within complex organizations is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g.,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) is required.
• Experience in process improvement is required; Six Sigma
experience and certification is a plus.
• Experience or exposure to IT systems implementations and the
change management, communications, training requirements to drive
ROI and adoption is required.
• Experience or exposure to mergers and acquisitions and
merger integration processes is preferred, but not required.
