JOB DESCRIPTION
SOLUTIONS ENGINEER
Sales Engineers in Interwoven’s Enterprise Sales Group, work closely with Corporate Sales Representatives and Account Executives to qualify, model and close new and existing accounts.
At Interwoven, SEs play a leading part and this highly visible role involves owning accounts from all aspects of the technical sales cycle including process discovery, proposals, to demonstrations. Relationship building, process mapping, sales cycle management and a passion for success are necessary skills in this role.

Business Skills
· Outstanding presentation, white board, communication and interpersonal skills
· Significant knowledge of the ECM industry, and customer environments in which ECM adds value.
· Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise, and achieve goals, while simultaneously involved in more than one deal
· Ability to work in a variety of environments, eg. Banks, Government Departments, S.I. companies, Creative and Advertising agencies
· Ability to effectively manage and guide customer expectations, and guide the Interwoven sales and marketing team in closing deals and growing the business
· Assist AE’s in the completion and presentation of their Strategic Account Plans
· Superior relationship-building and consultative sales abilities - Ability to build a trusted advisor relationship with client
Technical Skills
· Familiar with both Windows and Unix operating systems.
· Solid understanding of Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, XML, XSL and web script languages like JavaScript, ASP, PHP or Perl
· Solid understanding of J2EE and/or .NET
· Solid understanding of Web Services and Enterprise Services Architecture
· Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
· Solid understanding and hands-on experience with enterprise content management, collaboration, document management, and workflow.
· Experience with digital asset management,
· Solid understanding of imaging / scanning
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
· Completed Basic Sales Training
· Any Techincal Certification or Higher Educations is welcomed.
Experience
· Minimum 5-7 years software solution sales experience in a technical role
· eg Sales Engineer, Consultant, Technical Account Manager
· Experience in working successfully with Large Enterprise Accounts
· Experience in the FSI, Telco and/or Government verticals is highly desirable
