BI / DW Architects
Location - Bangalore 2, Pune 1, UK 2, US 4 (2 in East & 2 in West Coast)
Job Description:
Engineering/MCA Degree, preference for Electrical, Electronics/Communications or Computer Science with Tier 1 companies experience preferred
Desired Candidate Profile
· Strong DW/BI solution architecture expertise for enterprise data warehouse solutions
· Ability to interact with business and IT SME’s in understanding business requirements for BI solutions and able to craft the solutions
· Experience architecting BI/DW solutions (10+). Experience in transformation, i.e. consolidation of multiple legacy solution and progressive decommissioning would be a plus.
· Prior experience in Pre sales and delivery of BI/DW projects
· Designed the Data warehouse Architecture and develop the conceptual and physical Data Models working with the data modeling teams
· Provided strategies and the Data Warehousing Best Practices
· Provided the ETL team with the strategy load for the conformed and slowly changing dimensions
· Served as the data technical strategy expert and lead the creation of all ETL specifications
· Review design of ETL and BI for better performance
· BI /DW Tools – Teradata preferred, Oracle, DB2 , Ab initio, Datastage, Business Objects, Cognos, Trilium etc
· Must be conversant on how to architect Metadata , ETL, BI, ODS, EDW and Master data management solutions
· Performance Tuning / Capacity Planning support for multiple BI projects
· Drive creation of reusable components, frameworks and models from executed BI projects
· The candidate should be a result focused leader and must have played similar roles for the last 2 years
· Ability to travel 75% of the time to customer locations, with base location in India

· Enable better business decisions by creating the right architecture for Information management
· Business enablement support (Pre-sales, client visits, presentations)
